Volleyball Recap: Calhoun County Takes a Loss

Calhoun County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles.

The final score came out to 25-4, 25-10.

Calhoun County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calhoun County will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Kendrick at 5:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, they will head out to challenge Georgia Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
