Football Game Preview: Conway Christian Eagles vs. Mount Ida Lions

Conway Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 27-20 win over Mountainburg on Friday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Mount Ida was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Westside 50-6. That looming 50-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Lions yet this season.

Mount Ida's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Conway Christian, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Conway Christian barely slipped by Mount Ida in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 42-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
