Baseball Recap: Cape Fear Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against Fayetteville Christian

Cape Fear Christian Academy got themselves on the board against Fayetteville Christian on Tuesday, but Fayetteville Christian never followed suit. They blew past the Fayetteville Christian Warriors 18-0. The matchup marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Taylor Smith was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Cape Fear Christian Academy is 3-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 1-2 otherwise. Smith was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
