Baseball Recap: Smith Jewish Day School Takes a Loss

Smith Jewish Day School's last matchup with Georgetown Day could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Tuesday. The Lions lost 15-7 to the Mighty Hoppers. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 7-5 to the Mighty Hoppers when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Smith Jewish Day School and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Georgetown Day, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Smith Jewish Day School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Georgetown Day, they will head out to challenge Saint James at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
