Football Recap: Nehemiah Hankins Leads Granite Hills' Defense on Friday

Granite Hills won the last time they faced Adelanto and Aamir Sneed did his part to make sure it happened again. The Cougars secured a 25-20 W over the Saints on Friday with plenty of help from Sneed, who rushed for 175 yards and one score, and also threw for 165 yards and one touchdown on only 13 passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Granite Hills' success: the team is 3-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Granite Hills' defense and their three sacks. In that department, Nehemiah Hankins was the leader with two.

Granite Hills now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Adelanto, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Sneed and Robert Middlebrooks.
