Baseball Recap: Firebaugh Comes Up Short

Firebaugh fell victim to Norwalk and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Lancers, falling 7-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in March.

Firebaugh has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Norwalk, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10.

While Firebaugh had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
