Softball Recap: Nekoosa Comes Up Short

Nekoosa fell victim to Assumption and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Royals, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that the Papermakers have lost by exactly ten runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Nekoosa and nudges their season record down to 10-9. As for Assumption, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.

Coming up, Nekoosa will take on Amherst in a tournament on Saturday. As for Assumption, they will face off against Almond-Bancroft at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
