Basketball Game Preview: Pine Ridge Thorpes vs. Jones County Coyotes

The Pine Ridge Thorpes will take on the Jones County Coyotes at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Pine Ridge saw some tournament action last Saturday. They escaped with a win against Tiospa Zina by the margin of a single free throw, 33-32.

While Jones County didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They claimed a resounding 48-4 victory over James Valley Christian. The Coyotes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 29 points or more this season.

Pine Ridge now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Jones County, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
