Basketball Recap: Hanover-Horton Takes a Loss

Hanover-Horton lost against Lumen Christi Catholic last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hanover-Horton Comets might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 59-36 to the Lumen Christi Catholic Titans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 215th, while the Titans are ranked 29th).

Hanover-Horton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Lumen Christi Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Hanover-Horton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lumen Christi Catholic, they will take on Grass Lake in a tournament on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Grass Lake comes in on 16 and Lumen Christi Catholic on five.
