Softball Game Preview: Hamilton Southeastern Royals vs. Harrison Raiders

The Hamilton Southeastern Royals will head out on the road to square off against the Harrison Raiders at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Hamilton Southeastern's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Harrison's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Hamilton Southeastern managed to slip by New Palestine the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Royals lost 12-1 to the Dragons on Thursday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Royals, who until this match were averaging 3.2 runs allowed.

Hamilton Southeastern saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haleigh Seitz, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. That double was Seitz's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Harrison didn't have quite enough to beat Fishers on Thursday and fell 6-4. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harrison's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Hamilton Southeastern, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
