Shelby County had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 4-11  on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They skirted past the Collins Titans  10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Rockets have posted  against the Titans since April 9, 2019.
 Madison Clark was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in March.  Abby Blanton also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  double of the season.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Shelby County  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Collins only managed seven  hits.
As for Collins, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  defeat they have suffered  since April 20, 2024.
On Collins' side,  Breanna Morris spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered nine  runs (all of which were unearned)  on eight hits.
 At the plate,  Brooke Peterman was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 3-for-4 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.  Madelyn Bermudez was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI.
 Coming up, Shelby County will take on North Bullitt at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Collins, they will head out to  square off against Anderson County  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
