Recap: Memphis Business Academy Execs vs. Crosstown Explorers
The Memphis Business Academy Execs stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Crosstown 72-10 on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Memphis Business Academy who now have seven in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Memphis Business Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Curnesha Taylor, who scored 29 points along with nine rebounds and eight steals. Taylor hasn't dropped below two steals for 12 straight games. Another player making a difference was Tarrin Hill, who scored 14 points along with nine steals and six assists.
Memphis Business Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Crosstown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Memphis Business Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Douglass at 6:30 p.m. on January 24th. Douglass has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Crosstown, they will head out on the road to square off against Memphis Rise Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Memphis Rise Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than eight points in their last eight games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
