Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Westview walked away with it. They strolled past the Lakeland Lakers with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 64-49. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Lakers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 52-48 defeat.

Westview has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. With the loss, Lakeland broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-9.

Looking ahead, Westview and Central Noble will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Central Noble will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Westview surely won't give up without a fight. Lakeland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
