Central Ozarks - Small recap Oct. 3, 2012

Springfield Catholic extended the longest winning streak in Central Ozarks - Small this week by beating Reeds Spring, 21-18. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Fighting Irish.

Logan-Rogersville made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,505 from 9,448. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 39-28 victory over Aurora last week.

Marshfield's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bluejays feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Blayne Armstrong has thrown for 1000 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Logan Findley has 33 catches for 349 yards. Hunter Deckard leads the league in rushing with 393 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Buffalo takes on Springfield Catholic. The Bison are in sixth place, while Bob Cornelison's team is in first place.

Bolivar led Central Ozarks - Small in scoring this week after putting up 68 points on Buffalo.
