Soccer Recap: Joliet Central Takes a Loss

Joliet Central lost against Plainfield South back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Steelmen lost 6-1 to the Cougars. Joliet Central were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Juli Calderon, who's now up to seven this season.

Joliet Central now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Plainfield South, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-4.

Joliet Central has already played their next match (against Shepard), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Plainfield South, they will venture away from home to challenge Plainfield Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
