Another huge win on the recruiting front for defending national champions.

The Class of 2016 is shaping up as a special one for defending national champion Duke.

Five-star point guard Frank Jackson of Lone Peak (Highland, Utah) announced his intentions to play for the Blue Devils during a Tuesday afternoon press conference. Jackson is regarded as the No. 13 overall prospect in the 2016 class by 247Sports.

The news comes two months after Duke secured a verbal commitment from Jayson Tatum of Chaminade (St. Louis, Mo.) – a 6-foot-8 scoring wing that earned MaxPreps National Junior of the Year honors last sason.

Head coach Mike Krzyzewski also has his eyes on the nation's No. 1 rising senior in Harry Giles, a 6-10 forward that will attend Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) in 2015-16. Duke is regarded as a heavy favorite to land Giles, according to 247's Crystal Ball.

Like Tatum, Jackson was also a member of the MaxPreps Junior All-American Team in 2014-15. The 6-2 guard – and former BYU commitment – averaged 26.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game for Utah perennial powerhouse Lone Peak.

Arizona, Stanford and Utah were also heavily involved in Jackson's recruitment.
