Volleyball Recap: Adelanto Takes a Loss

Adelanto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Tahquitz Titans.

Leading Tahquitz to victory were Marley Tuliau and Jaden Gonzalez. Tuliau had 11 kills, four digs, two aces, and one block, while Gonzalez had 26 assists. That's the most kills Tuliau has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Reyna Garcia, who had six kills and four digs.

Adelanto's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tahquitz, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Adelanto will be playing in front of their home fans against Jurupa Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tahquitz, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Rancho Verde on the 9th.
