Recap: Rocky River Ravens vs. Garinger Wildcats
The Rocky River Ravens can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. Everything went their way against Garinger as Rocky River made off with a 29-6 win. The victory was just what Rocky River needed coming off of a 56-7 defeat in their prior contest.
Rocky River can attribute much of their success to Jaylen Byrd, who rushed for 98 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Donovan Brown, who gained 89 total yards and a touchdown.
Another reason for the win was Rocky River's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. Garinger's QB won't forget Steven Muin anytime soon given Muin sacked him six times.
Rocky River's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Garinger, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-10.
Rocky River does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Garinger also has no future games currently scheduled.
