Meanwhile, Kewanee came up short against Sherrard on Tuesday and fell 52-41. The Boilermakers haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Newman Central Catholic now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Kewanee, they now have a losing record of 14-15.

Newman Central Catholic beat Kewanee 65-55 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Newman Central Catholic since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
