It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Marvin Ridge had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Chapel Hill Tigers, posting a 52-13 win. The Mavericks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Levi Kerr had a dynamite game, throwing for 194 yards and four TDs on only 13 passes. Levi Haines was in the mix as well, providing Marvin Ridge with three touchdowns.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 22 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Jake Robbins, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown. Another bright spot was a punt return touchdown from Haines.

Marvin Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Chapel Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

As of now, neither Marvin Ridge nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
