Arroyo is 9-1 against Rosemead since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Knights will take on the Panthers at 3:15 p.m. Arroyo's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so Rosemead's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Arroyo is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Gabrielino just ended the team's six-game winning streak two weeks ago. They lost 8-1 to the Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Knights have suffered since March 5th.

Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary hit Rosemead with a five-run seventh inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 10-9. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost three in a row.

Carlos Villalobos made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Juleean Pinto, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Rosemead's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Arroyo, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-6.

Arroyo couldn't quite get it done against Rosemead in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 as they fell 3-0. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
