Butler is 9-1 against Piqua since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Aviators will welcome the Indians at 5:00 p.m. Butler is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Butler barely beat Fairborn the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Aviators blew past the Skyhawks 13-3 on Friday. Considering the Aviators have won six matchups by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Piqua suffered their biggest defeat since April 29, 2024 on Wednesday. They lost 9-2 to Fairborn.

Piqua saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Steinke, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one double.

Butler pushed their record up to 13-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Piqua, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.

Everything went Butler's way against Piqua in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Butler made off with a 7-1 win. Will the Aviators repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
