Baseball Recap: Tigard Extends Winning Streak to Two

While Tigard's victory against Oregon City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers never let the Pioneers get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since April 10th.

Conner Reilly was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Tigard and bumps their season record up to 10-11-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Oregon City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Tigard will have a chance to go back-to-back against Oregon City: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
