Baseball Recap: Zion Christian Academy Finds Home Field Redemption Against South Haven Christian

There's no place like home for Zion Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They had just enough and edged out South Haven Christian 10-9 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with South Haven Christian: they've now won five in a row.

J.T. Fox was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Zion Christian Academy is 2-1 when Fox posts two or more stolen bases, but 6-9 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Handley, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Zion Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for South Haven Christian, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4.

Zion Christian Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against South Haven Christian: the pair will be back at it again later today.
