Volleyball Recap: Oak Hill Takes a Loss

Oak Hill lost against South Charleston back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Devils fell 3-1 to the Black Eagles. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Jenna Maynor paced Oak Hill's offense, picking up ten kills. Maynor got some help from Danielle Parsons and her 23 assists. Maynor also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Amy Hollandsworth, each putting up three.

Oak Hill's loss dropped their record down to 14-20-4. As for South Charleston, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Oak Hill will face off against Greenbrier East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Charleston, they will take on Chapmanville Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
