Evangelical Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Imagine School at North Port likes a good challenge.
Evangelical Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past The Village School of Naples 74-49 on Friday. The Sentinels pushed the score to 57-36 by the end of the third, a deficit the Knights had little chance of recovering from.

Evangelical Christian found their leader in sophomore Zachary St. John, who went 8 for 14 en route to 24 points along with seven boards and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points St. John has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of David Morris, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 14 points and eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Imagine School at North Port played a tough game on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 78-41 loss at the hands of Cardinal Mooney. The Sharks have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Evangelical Christian will have to keep a close watch on Jordan Kirkus and Wesley Woods, a pair of players who had a big impact on Imagine School at North Port's prior game. Kirkus posted ten points, while Woods earned eight points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Gardner, who scored four points.
Evangelical Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points per game. As for Imagine School at North Port, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Evangelical Christian has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 33.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Imagine School at North Port struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.8 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
