Basketball Game Preview: Windham Jaguars vs. Keene Blackbirds

The Windham Jaguars will head out to face off against the Keene Blackbirds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Tuesday, Windham ended up a good deal behind Manchester Memorial and lost 80-63.

Meanwhile, Keene entered their tilt with Pinkerton on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They skirted past the Astros 71-69. Given the Blackbirds' advantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Astros are ranked 53rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Keene's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.5 points per game. As for Windham, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Windham couldn't quite finish off Keene in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 and fell 66-63. Can Windham avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
