Volleyball Recap: Fairborn Takes a Loss

Fairborn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Xenia Buccaneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buccaneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Fairborn's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Xenia, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 9-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Fairborn will venture away from home to take on Stivers School for the Arts at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Xenia, they will face off against Stebbins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
