Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Trinity Christian Academy lost against Christ's Church Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors had to suffer through a 73-39 loss at the hands of the Christ's Church Academy Eagles.

Christ's Church Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Michael Jativa, who went 8 of 20 on his way to 27 points and four steals. Those 27 points gave Jativa a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Olson, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine boards.

Trinity Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Christ's Church Academy, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian Academy has already played their next contest (against Middleburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Christ's Church Academy will face off against Englewood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Christ's Church Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.
