Volleyball Recap: Montebello Takes a Loss

Montebello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Bell Gardens Lancers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 11th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 20-25, 25-12.

Montebello's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Bell Gardens, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Montebello is set to square off against their familiar foe Mark Keppel at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bell Gardens will face off against rival San Gabriel at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
