Elsinore waltzed into their match on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Camarillo Scorpions a 6-0 shutout.

The result came thanks to Brayden Stankus's shutout, as he gave up just three hits.

On the hitting side, Elsinore's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Robert Gates, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

Elsinore pushed their record up to 22-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Camarillo, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-17.
