Volleyball Recap: Council Grove Comes Up Short

Council Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Chase County Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss back in September.

While Council Grove ultimately came up short, they really made Chase County work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 26-24.

Council Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 2-24. As for Chase County, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-8.

Council Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Osage City on the 11th. As for Chase County, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Cair Paravel on the 11th.
