Softball Recap: Seneca East's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

Seneca East won the last time they faced Plymouth and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tigers walked away with a 6-1 win over the Big Red.

Kynlee Miller was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Miller wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Madi Smith, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Seneca East's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-10. As for Plymouth, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

As of now, neither Seneca East nor Plymouth have any future games scheduled.
