Basketball Recap: Laney Beats Josey for Their Sixth Straight Victory

Laney came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 64-43 margin over the Josey Eagles. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Laney has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Josey, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Burke County the next time they take the court. Laney will host Burke County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Josey will head out to face them at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
