Recap: Middleton Tigers vs. West Carroll War Eagles
The Middleton Tigers waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins but they left with six. They blew past West Carroll, posting a 58-19 win on the road. Given Middleton's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while West Carroll is ranked 358th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Middleton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kemora Buggs out in front who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Harmony Bell was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Middleton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for West Carroll, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
Middleton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. West Carroll also has no future games currently scheduled.
