Basketball Recap: Community School of Davidson Drops Season-High Score on Bradford Prep

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Community School of Davidson). They breezed by the Bradford Prep Bears to the tune of 67-30 on Thursday. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 22 points or more this season.

Community School of Davidson found their leader in sophomore Aubrey Mccormick, who went 8 of 13 en route to 20 points and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mccormick has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Regan Downey, who posted 21 points along with five boards and three steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Community School of Davidson and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for Bradford Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Community School of Davidson will take on Christ the King at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Community School of Davidson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.7 points per game this season. As for Bradford Prep, they will challenge Lincoln Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln Charter will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Bradford Prep surely won't give up without a fight.
