Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crescent City). They breezed past the Taylor Wildcats to the tune of 47-19 on Friday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-6.

Crescent City can attribute much of their success to Ky'Re Roulhac, who picked up 35 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. The dominant performance also gave Roulhac a new career-high in receiving touchdowns (two). Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Cedric Offord, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Crescent City, adding 11 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Offord, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Despite the loss, Taylor still got an impressive performance from Nikko Dozier, who rushed for 131 yards and one score. Dozier also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing one fumble and making eight total tackles.

The win snapped Crescent City's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-6 record. As for Taylor, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Crescent City wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 36-9 victory against Keystone Heights on the 30th. As for Taylor, they have also already played their next game, a 42-13 loss against Father Lopez on the 30th.
