Northeastern posted their closest victory since August 31, 2024 on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Eastern Hancock Royals 2-1. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Northeastern has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Eastern Hancock, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, Northeastern will be playing at home against Union City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eastern Hancock, they will head out to face off against North Decatur at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
