Football Game Preview: Harding Academy Lions vs. Fayette Academy Vikings + Official Tickets

Harding Academy is 0-6 against Fayette Academy since August of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Lions will be playing at home against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Harding Academy came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by Jackson Christian 48-14. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the Eagles are ranked 85th).

Although Harding Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Jarren Jackson and Darius Oliver.

Meanwhile, Fayette Academy played a tough game last Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 49-14 defeat at the hands of Trinity Christian Academy. The Vikings have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Fayette Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Harding Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Harding Academy was dealt a bruising 45-12 loss at the hands of Fayette Academy when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Lions, Corbin Bowling (who rushed for 86 yards and three TDs on only seven carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
