Basketball Recap: Simsboro Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Simsboro can now relate to. They lost 77-57 to the Lacassine Cardinals on Tuesday. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 71-64 to the Cardinals when the teams met back in March of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Simsboro's loss dropped their record down to 13-17. As for Lacassine, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Simsboro nor Lacassine have any future games scheduled.
