Softball Recap: Woods Cross Wildcats vs. Alta Hawks        
        
		
            
 Woods Cross was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight  loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a  rough 21-6 walloping at the hands of the Alta Hawks. Woods Cross was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Alta apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in May of 2018.
 Woods Cross saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Natalie Wall, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Savannah Juggert, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-1.
 On Alta's side, they got a  massive  performance out of  Brielle Watson, who  went 4-for-4 with four  runs, three  doubles,  and two  RBI.  Lavern Toelupe was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
 Woods Cross' loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Alta, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record  this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woods Cross will take on Bountiful at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Bountiful is coming into the  game with eight straight  victories on the road,  so Woods Cross will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum. As for Alta, they will be playing at home against East at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. East is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 11.5  runs per game  this season.
