 The Wayne Blue Devils will head out on the road to  take on  the Tekamah-Herman Tigers at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Wayne is looking to tack on another W to their nine-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
 Wayne can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent  matchup  on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Thurston-Cuming County as Wayne made off with  a  13-3 win.
  Adrian Contreras was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He  tossed four innings while giving up  three earned runs off   three  hits. Contreras was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with a  stolen base, a  double,  and  an  RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played.
 In other pitching news,  Alex Rodriguez looked comfortable as he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (he also didn't allow any  walks).
 Back at the plate, Wayne got a  massive  performance out of  Parker Patefield, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.  Jaxson Kneifl was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile,  after soaring to 15  runs the game before, Tekamah-Herman was a bit more limited  in their  contest  on Monday. They suffered a  tough 11-1 loss at the hands of Wahoo/Bishop Neumann.
 Tekamah-Herman saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Parke Loftis, who  went 1-for-3 with a  stolen base and  an  RBI.
 Wayne's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Tekamah-Herman, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
Tekamah-Herman's pitching crew has a tough task ahead of them:  Wayne hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .335.
