Basketball Recap: Clear Fork Comes Up Short

Clear Fork was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 44-35 to the Pleasant Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-39 back in December of 2025.

Evan Sickmiller produced another solid effort dropping a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards for Pleasant. Another player making a difference was Colin Jordan, who posted 12 points.

Clear Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Pleasant, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Clear Fork is set to face off against their familiar foe Marion Harding at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pleasant will challenge rival Ontario at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
