Softball Recap: Etna Comes Up Short

Etna lost to Mt. Shasta on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions fell 10-5 to the Bears. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Molly Harris was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Brinleigh Stacher, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs.

Etna's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Mt. Shasta, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Etna is set to face off against their familiar foe Weed at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mt. Shasta will square off against rival Fall River at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
