Soccer Recap: West Memphis Takes a Loss

West Memphis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Marion Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to West Memphis of the 4-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

West Memphis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Marion, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3-2 and their overall record up to 2-6-2.
