Baseball Game Preview: Innovation Bulls vs. Freedom Patriots

The Innovation Bulls will head out to challenge the Freedom Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Innovation is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Innovation came up short against Cypress Creek and fell 9-5. That's two games in a row now that the Bulls have lost by exactly four runs.

Innovation got a good showing from Ryan Glasgow, who pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off one hit. Glasgow has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Matthew Graci made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Luis Rodriguez was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases.

Meanwhile, Freedom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 7-4 to Cheshire Academy.

Freedom's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Innovation, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.
