Basketball Game Preview: Wilson Warriors vs. Central Wildcats

Wilson is 0-10 against Central since December of 2020 but things could change on Thursday. The Wilson Warriors are taking a road trip to challenge the Central Wildcats at 7:45 p.m.

On Tuesday, Wilson ended up a good deal behind Brooks and lost 58-43.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Deshler on Tuesday, sneaking past 64-62.

Central pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Wilson, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.

Wilson came up short against Central in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 60-54. Can Wilson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
