Basketball Recap: High Point Central Takes a Loss

High Point Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 33rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 64-11 loss at the hands of the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans. The Bison were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-6.

High Point Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Northwest Cabarrus, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

High Point Central is taking a road trip to face off against Northeast Guilford at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. High Point Central is facing Northeast Guilford at the right time seeing as Northeast Guilford is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Northwest Cabarrus, they will face off against West Rowan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
