Football Recap: Hilliard Davidson Comes Up Short

Hilliard Davidson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 24-20 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dublin Coffman Shamrocks. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Shamrocks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Hilliard Davidson's record now sits at 4-4. As for Dublin Coffman, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hilliard Davidson will take on rival Olentangy Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Dublin Coffman is set to challenge their familiar foe Upper Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
