Landon York was his usual excellent self, throwing for 246 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (161.9). Jager Thompson helped York out on the ground, picking up 72 receiving yards and three scores.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Stanton's offense. They were beaten by Coahoma 42-0 on Friday.
Stanton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Wall, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.
Everything came up roses for Wall against Stanton in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 57-7 win. In that game, the Hawks amassed a halftime lead of 43-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
